So I Wonder... About the modern Singapore Girl

So i was sitting down and noticed this couple walking across… young couple, cute gal - ok guy….

they turned right and I guess the guy was walking a little ahead of the gal, a little too presumptious… he found a seat and walked on to sit… when he turned round - walah! the gal was nowhere to be found!

What actually happened was that maybe the gal was pissed with him, well, she doesn’t look too happy - and she found a sit couple of rows earlier and she proceeded to turn in whilst the guy was walking on ahead.  She sat down I guess knowing very well that the guy was looking for a seat in front.  

When the guy realised what happened, he stood up, walked back to where the  gal had found a seat, and proceeded to sit down beside her…

So i was like thinking… what’s happening between this couple? Looks like maybe there was a prior misunderstanding? I dont know.  But surely no common train of thot…

Hmmm… so the lesson? guys, never assume that your gal is always following… maybe if you’re living in ancient Japan, yeah, that would work.  Womenfolk were then expected to walk a couple paces behind the menfolk.  Its the custom.  But here in modern Singapore, you practice that and dont have your gal beside you? You might just find that “your” gal will be “gone” before you know it!

It’s hard… I know… Us guys sometimes wanna be and have like the upper hand, but hey, it’s modern Singapore where gals are equal, remember? You see them taking on heavy responsibilities nowzadays.  They are now more independent than way back then.  They are earning big bucks as well, that’s why every now and then whilst driving on the roads, almost every other sports car or luxury car you see - is often driven by a cute young thing!  I know what some may think, er… Sugar-daddy and all that stuff, but that is so yesterday thinking!

Gals nowzadays wanna be treated equal - sometimes maybe more equal than - but, hey! that’s the game of love and life.

Game of love? If us guys wanna get that dream girl, you’d better learn the tricks of the “trade” - the wild card (?) - what is that?  Gonna leave that for another day, another posting. But if you want it sooner, all you gotta do is… yes - ASK!

And i can share with you my insights - not that I’m an expert in the game or anything, but I’ve had my fair share… er…. or maybe a lil’ bit more than that!  haha!

That’s my first or perhaps many, fascinations of life and love -

Oh? what happened to that couple I started off with? I don’t know… but who cares about what happened to them?  Attention got drifted to more important things in life…

Like what she once told me… I dun care about who sleeps with who… as long as…   ;-)

What has this gotta do with “Wind Beneath My Wings”???  Think about it…  us guys gotta learn … gotta get our wind beneath our wings, so we can see better and clearer - how to treat the modern Singapore Gal!
