About Health and Imagination!

Thot for the day…

“Money is the most envied, but the least enjoyed.
Health is the most enjoyed, but the least envied.”

— Charles Caleb Colton: (1780-1832) British clergyman, sportsman and author.

Isn’t this quite true for some of us, or maybe all of us, sometimes?

Sounds contradictory, but if you really read into it, the true significance bounces out right at you!

Alot of us envy lots of money, and as such, least enjoy that… probably cos not all of us have lots of it all the time…

On the other hand, health, being “Free”, can be enjoyed by all who take the timeand the effort to make ourselves to be.  But because of the the pain and sufferings sometimes necessary to go through and attain health, it is not as much envied… that is until we fall ill, so ill, and we see those who go about their healthy lives but take it for granted!

SO tell yo what… take the nect few moments, close your eyes, see yourself in the pink of health through a healthy lifestyle, doing lots of sports that you enjoy… sense and imagine the air brushing through your hair, the perspiration falling down your face to your neck, smell the freshness all around you as you jog through the park after some rain… hear the birds chirpping away… feel your heart pumping your blood coursing through your veins and making you breathe harder… faster… taking in more air into your lungs…and making you feel all so strong and in control… experience the senses all around… and when you think you’ve had enough… go through that thinking again!

Now open your eyes… and pause for a few moments… enjoy that experience…? You can get that for real… just put on your sports attire, and take that first step!

There you go!

Blue skies always!
