Lump of Coal? More Like pre-formed Diamond in the raw!

You tell me after you’ve watched this talent show… A lump formed in my throat… My goose pimples raised… A tear almost formed in the corner of my eye… Sometimes, we don’t realise what talent lies within… Alot of us are like the judges’ typical first reactions when we see this talent-in-the-making… a normal bloke, or perhaps worse than a normal as was seen from the judges initial expressions… that’s the human reaction But just as the guy opens his mouth for the operatic rendition… All in front of him were mesmerised, as I’m sure you were… This brings me to think, how many times we write off something, or worse, someone just because he or she does not look like Miss Universe or some handsome holly/bollywod actor. But i guess God is fair… Oftentimes he will grant some special talent to those whom we humanly think aren’t deserving a second look. Makes you want to re-examine your perspectives… and then once more… the next time you meet someone, who’s a plain jane gal next door, or perhaps a “what’s-his-name” kinda guy, you may want to think again… Blue skies always!
